Important Information To Note Before Booking Your

TRUE ARROW Tarot Reading

  • Clear communication: Your reading is more successful if we communicate with one another well. I am not here to judge. I am here to help. Always remember that.

  • Religious respect: I have respect for all religious beliefs. I do not make any assumptions about what you believe in, nor will I impose or imply any religious agenda (and expect the same in return).

  • Confidentiality: I keep my readings in the strictest confidence. I will never share anything that comes up during a reading. If you choose to share your experience, that is a personal choice.

Things I Will Absolutely Ensure During Your Reading

Things I Will Absolutely Not Do During Your Reading

  • Read for someone in the wrong headspace. This includes being in crisis, being under the influence, being closed-minded or otherwise sabotaging the reading. Please approach this experience with good intentions, an open heart, and respect for the process, as that is what I am always bringing to the tarot table.

  • Read for an unaccompanied minor. I will not read for anyone under the age of 18 without the written consent or attendance of their parent or legal guardian.

  • Predict health. I will not do readings as a means of prediction of health or physical wellbeing, although messages about self-care may come through.

  • Nonconsensual third party reading. I will not do a reading about a third party person without their knowledge or consent. Readings may include card draws about how to improve your communication/relationship/etc with another person, but understand that the focus is on YOUR part of the equation, not the other person’s part.

  • Communication with the departed. Unless you make prior notification with me, I will not attempt to make contact with anyone who has departed, although messages from them may come through.

A Few More Tarot Tidbits

  • Parts of your reading may not make sense right away and that is to be expected. Please don’t automatically discredit any information if it doesn’t cause an immediate “AH HA!” moment for you. It will make sense when you are supposed to understand that message and need it most.

  • Sometimes the readings answer questions we didn’t ask. This is the way it goes! If there is an important message that spirit feels you need to know, it isn’t shy about delivering it.

TAROT Terminology

Tarot

Tarot: A deck typically consisting of seventy-eight cards, separated into two main components: the major and minor arcana. There are countless different themes and styles, so you are sure to find one (or one hundred) that speaks to your soul!

Oracle

These decks do not follow a strict structure and can consist of any number of cards. They offer inspirational messages and vary in their themes and styles.

Major Arcana

Minor Arcana

The remaining fifty-six cards are separated into four suits of fourteen cards each. Each suit has four court cards: page, knight, king, and queen. The suits align with different elements and have their own unique meaning.

These cards are numbered 0-21 at the beginning of the deck. These cards typically will represent more significant, impactful matters in your life.

Suit

The traditional suits of the minor arcana are wands, pentacles, swords, and cups. Some decks select something else to represent these original four, which may align more with the deck's theme.
